I stayed at Riad al Badia in February 2020 with my mother and it honestly is one of the best places I've ever stayed at. Laurent is extremely hospitable and helpful - always made sure our stay was perfect. Also the cleaning staff was very sweet, always smiling. We felt very welcome there. We had one dinner at the Riad and it was SO delicious! I am vegan and it was not a problem.The riad is in a quieter part of the city, but everything is within walking distance.

Before selecting to stay at Riad Al Badia, we also looked at other Riad's in Marrakech which were slightly cheaper although due to the glowing reviews, we made the decision to spend a little extra and book here.It absolutely did not disappoint, whilst the Riad itself is beautiful, Laurent and his staff were incredible throughout our stay, continually going above and beyond for us.On arrival, Laurent sat with us for 15-20 minutes, giving us a great overview of the local area, places he recommended that we visit and what to expect in and around Marrakech. This made us instantly feel at home.When we were looking to arrange a quad biking experience in the area, we needed to borrow a phone to book in advance and arrange pickup. When we asked at the Riad to borrow a phone to make a call, Laurent himself called on our behalf and made sure that the driver knew the best location to collect us.Prior to our final day, we asked about when check-out time at the property was and if we would be able to leave our luggage as we had an evening flight out of Marrakech. Instead, we were allowed to keep the room until our departure so that we had additional time to pack and shower before leaving. Overall, I do not think we could have had a better experience by staying anywhere else in Marrakech and I would love to return one day.

We have not stayed in other Riads so have no comparison, but this truly was a wonderful few days for us. Really felt like we received a personal service as houseguests in a beautiful location. Riad staff invited us to ‘just ask’ if we needed assistance with anything and they literally helped with everything we needed. As a comparison we stayed at the St Regis in Istanbul this time last last year and that 5* place was actually less accommodating than this Riad!!Food service in the evening requires 24hr notice, but don’t miss out. Best food we have eaten in Marrakech. Best value in Morocco to be honest. Staff are 100% fluent in English, French, Arabic and SpanishI don’t often leave five star reviews, but this certainly deserves it!!

We have had the most amazing holiday in Marrakech. I haven't been to Marrakech before and wasn't sure what to expect. Upon arrival at Riad Al Badia we were welcomed by Laurent who explained the culture and geography of Marrakech. This welcome talk truly helped me to relax into the Marrakech way of life and to appreciate and enjoy all that we saw, particularly when we were in and around Jemaa el Fnaa, Marrakech is a very vibrant city but the moment we stepped through the door into our riad it was like stepping into another world, one of peace and tranquility. A real oasis in this wonderful city. The riad is stunning and even now when I think of it I am transported to that feeling of peace and callm. Laurent and all of his staff are incredible. They are there to ensure that your stay is as perfect as possible. The breakfasts were amazing, they kept us full all day long. We tended to get back to the riad around 4pm after a day of exploring, we spent time sitting with our feet in the pool, we spent afternoons and evenings on the top terrace. It was perfect. We ate in the riad on one occasion, it was beautiful. The food was delicious, the ambience deeply relaxing. I just loved it and definitely recommend it,Sometimes it is hard to find the words to explain a place, but for me the fact that I can still recreate that feeling of deep relaxation (having been back at work and in the midst of every day life) just by visualising myself being back speaks volumes.Thank you Laurent. You are the perfect host, and I thank you so much for giving me such a beautiful place to call home for a week.

Lovely Riad, we were made very welcome by the family who owned this place. Youssef was always on hand with help and information. The breakfasts were filling, fresh and tasty. We had dinner one night and it was THE BEST Tagine in Marrakech. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily. It’s a small place so don’t expect a big modern hotel but it gives you a real taste of life in this city. Would highly recommend.

We last stayed at Riad Al Badia eleven years ago, but it made such an impression that we vowed to return.We returned to Marrakech on a package deal with accommodation included, but we still wanted to visit Riad Al Badia. I arranged to have a meal at the Riad, as we remember their food being the best we'd tasted in Marrakech.Mr Olier helped with all of our arrangements and requests, which included an all vegan menu and transport back to our accommodation.When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Youssef, and seated in the courtyard while our dinner was prepared.We ate at a table for us next to the plunge pool, and the lighting was wonderful. And what a dinner! Eleven years later, and they're still the best flavours we've had anywhere in Marrakech, and what a joy to have an all vegan menu. The sweet tomato dish was a revelation.The highlight of our evening was a visit from Madame Bouchra who took such good care of us when we last stayed, and we were delighted to see her again and thank her in person again.Whether you want somewhere unique to stay or somewhere special to dine, the team at Riad Al Badia can deliver both extremely well, with professionalism and care.We do hope to return again as guests to stay, and I am extremely happy to recommend them.

Why waste your time looking over hotels.com, booking.com, google reviews, and TripAdvisor like I did, trying to find the "perfect" hotel for your stay in Marrakech? Look no further, Riad Al Badia is the place to book, please trust me and you will not be disappointed! Danielle (my partner) and I stayed at Riad Al Badia 14th - 17th April and I can honestly say it was one of the best hotels and experiences I have had. We were picked up from the airport and walked to our Riad by the driver. We were greeted at the door by Youssef, Asma and team, where they gave us fresh mint tea, and explained the do and dont's of the city as well as went through a map of the city. Youssef went one step further on our first night and walked us to the main square so we didn't get lost.The Riad was very clean, and made us feel at home. It smelt amazing and was so peaceful, exactly what you need when out in the souks all day. The bedroom was always cleaned and breakfast was amazing, 10/10. We also had dinner at the Riad which was so fresh, tasty and impeccable service. Nothing was too little or too small for the team. If we had an issue, they resolved it. If we had a question, they resolved it. If we didn't have a smile on our face, they resolved it. Such great people and honestly they are all a credit to this Riad. If it was not for the people delivering such a great service, our experience would not have been the same.We wish Riad Al Badia and the staff all the best, and really hope to meet you all again when we come back to stay in Marrakesh.
